“Education for dictatorship”

This provocative headline belongs to an article in which the author Eynam Amram-Ashrov criticizes the public school system in Israel. In her opinion, the teacher has too much power over the students and the students are at the mercy of the teacher. I tried to capture her point of view by transforming the classroom into a doll house, the teacher can use the figures as she (or he) pleases. The 2-page illustration has been published in the Israeli quarterly magazine “Liberal”. Graphic Design: Shira Elk.
