DragonsCat is basically me, Elena Katsitaki (or Livnat). I am a Designer creating illustrations, comics and animations.
I use a simple Wacom tablet (without a display) connected to my Mac for drawing. I draw on the tablet and see what I’m drawing on the Mac screen. For less complex works, I sometimes use my Samsung tablet, which I can draw directly on. I often do initial sketches with pencil on paper.
Long ago I studied Psychology at the Technical University in Berlin (Germany) and finished with a second degree. Later I took art classes at the Kay College in Beer Sheva (Israel) and studied 3 years comics and illustration at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milano (Italy). Since 2017 I am working as a full time artist in Switzerland, Germany and Israel.
